Domain Terms & Conditions
All domains are renewed automatically on an annual basis. If you do not want one of your domain names renewed for any reason you need to put this notification in writing by email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 7 days before the renewal date. If you are unsure what the renewal date is you can either find this on your most recent invoice or get in touch for clarification.
If you request that you no longer wish to have your domain name renewed it will be left to expire. Your domain name will then go into a 30 day protected period, after which it will be suspended by Nominet and then go into a 60 day grace period. If you change your mind and still wanted to retain your domain name, this must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired. After 90 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through a third party registrar by Nominet.
If you wish to transfer a domain to a new provider, please put this in writing to email@example.com clearly stating the new IPS Tag. You will receive an email confirming that your instruction has been carried out. There is no fee for transferring a UK domain name.
Abuse & Complaints Procedure
Please direct all domain issues and complaints to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can expect an initial response within 3 business days.
If you are not happy with the initial outcome of your complaint and its regarding your co.uk or .uk domain name, you can escalate your issue to Nominet (the .uk registry) here: http://www.nominet.org.uk/disputes/complaining-about-registrar/complaints-procedure
